Salon Policies

CANCELLATIONS

  • If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we respectfully request a minimum of 24 hours notice. If notice is given less than 24 hours before your appointment time, a $65 cancellation fee per pet will apply.

  • No shows will be responsible for the $65 cancellation fee to schedule a new appointment. Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled for and a cancellation fee may apply.

Salon Drop-off & Pick-up

  • Drop Off: Fresh Pets cannot accept pets more than 5 minutes prior to their appointment time, unless arranged with your groomer prior to your appointment date. Please bring dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier.

  • Pick Up: Unless prior arrangements have been made, we ask that you please pick your pet up within 30 minutes of their groom being completed and owner contacted. After 30 minutes, there is a charge a of $1 per minute to wait. Please plan accordingly to ensure you are available to pick up your pet when they are finished.

We kindly ask pet owners not to arrive at the salon prior to being contacted. If you have not received a text or call stating your pet is finished, please do not walk into the salon. If a pet owner arrives early, there will be an additional $25 fee added to the total and the pet’s groom may not be completed. Arriving early is highly distracting to the pet and groomer.

  • For safe drop-off & pick-up please pull into the driveway.

Matted coats

  • We do not offer extensive de-matting services. Any pet who is matted will need to be shaved. Severe matting will require an additional fee dependent on severity. Ears and tails that are not matted to the skin may be gently brushed out at our groomer’s discretion. The client understands that they are responsible for the condition of their pet’s coat and will not hold Fresh Pets LLC responsible in the event of adverse effects of mat removal. We will make every effort to minimize any reactions.

Pricing & Payment

  • Grooming prices are estimated and may vary greatly based on coat condition/type, skin condition, special handling, size/weight, and temperament. Quotes given may not be the total amount after services are actually rendered. Pets who go longer between appointments or those with matted coats are subject to additional fees.

  • We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and Venmo as payment for services. Please Note: If you are paying in cash, please ensure you have the correct amount on hand. We do not keep change in the salon for security purposes and the safety of our staff.

Vaccinations, Illness, & senior pets

  • Oregon state requires rabies vaccinations for all pets by law. Clients are responsible for vaccinating their pets, and Fresh Pets LLC will not be held responsible for any illness resulting from a lack of vaccinations. We may ask for proof of a current rabies vaccination at any time.

  • It is the pet owner’s responsibility to notify the groomer of any current medical conditions prior to the grooming appointment. These may affect what is able to be achieved in the session booked. If your pet is displaying any symptoms of illness (coughing, diarrhea, fever) prior to their appointment, we ask that you please reschedule your grooming appointment and seek veterinary care.

  • Senior pets have a greater chance of groom accidents or becoming stressed during their appointment, and will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort. Some services may not be performed. Fresh Pets LLC will exercise due responsible care to prevent injury or illness to pets; however, in the event of an accident, the pet’s owner will not hold Fresh Pets LLC liable.

Social media

  • We may take photos of your pet to post on our Facebook page, Google profile, or use on our website.
